Today while I was reading I read something that really got my attention. It said, "have you ever been most afraid of doing the thing you most want to do." Sound familiar?

If not it should, because I'd be willing to bet that whatever you truly aspire to do with your life you probably feel some sense of fear associated with it. For the salesman it could be facing rejection, or for the singer it could be stagefright, for most people in MLM companies it's fear of talking to people about your MLM opportunity.

When you were a kid you probably had all kinds of humongous dreams. When I was in grade school I often dreamed of being an astronaut, a professional basketball player, and even a comedian. Then as I got older the dream thieves started to come out in droves explaining to me why I could NOT do what I most wanted to do.

So while the title of this post mentions "the missing links", I believe there are actually many more, but these are the two most important factors which will determine whether people become successful or not in their (mlm companies).



Factor #1 - Belief

It takes a strong belief in yourself and your dream to keep pushing forward when 9 out of every 10 people you come across wants to cut you down. Let's not fail to mention that it also takes a deep belief in your company and it's products. Would you use your company's products if you weren't a distributor?

Does the MLM company you're with have good leadership? All of these things are important to strengthen your belief system. You'll definitely need to have a strong belief system to prepare you for the "obstacles" that you will surely face. Sometimes people are just down right nasty.

They'll laugh at you, talk behind your back, and turn their noses up as soon as they realize that what you are actually trying to do (in their minds) is leave them behind. Many people want to see you fail unknowingly, they subconsciously feel that by you showing the initiative to attempt to move forward that it will expose their inadequacies and lack of motivation to do the same.

Factor # 2 - Confidence

So the second thing that you must possess with your belief is confidence. When you have a strong belief and confidence that you will achieve your goal you will no longer be held back by the doubters, the naysayers, or the dream thieves.

Being confident and believing that it can be done will take you wherever it is that you want to go as long as you persist. So remember, the people in all of the "mlm companies" that are achieving massive success are 100% confident and they believed 100% that it was possible. You should also think the same way, and that's regardless of whether you're in an MLM company or if you want to be the next president. Just get started, believe, be confident, and never stop until you reach your target!
