There are number of reasons due to which many business organizations hold their functions or meetings at external places. They may feel that their office building is not suitable for their meeting, they may be transferring their office or they may think that their building is not able to do justice with their event.
There might be chances that they are looking for such kind of venue where they can get two or more than two parties at a time.
So, in short, you can say that there are number of factors that are involved while selecting a meeting or function venue and mostly because of compromise a neutral venue get selected.
In this regard, location of the venue comes at first place. You have to select such a venue for which your clients don't have to travel for longer time. if your clients have to come from out of city then you have to select such a place which is near to the highway or airport or motorway.
If you want to facilitate your clients properly then you should provide them parking facilities too. If they know that their car is safe and secure then can communicate with your easily and efficiently.
You have to check that the venue you are going to decide is capable of fulfilling all your requirements. Like, if you wanted to do a speech or some kind of lecture then you have to check that either your selected venue has proper auditorium facilities or not? If your selected venue doesn't have your required facilities then it's useless to have your event at such kind of place.
If there is big gathering then you have to make sure that proper seating facilities are being provided by your selected venue or not?
So, you have to select such a venue which simply shows the character and status of your organization. Clients always give importance to such meeting that are held at neutral places and often portrays an image of your organization from those meetings.
